Ms. Naveen Shah

Naveen Shah is an International Educator. Naveen worked with Global College of Long Island University for 22 years as the Director of South Asia and India Center. Naveen’ area of expertise is in Program and Personal Development, Holistic Development, with vast experience working in International Education; Student Experience, Coaching; Specialized into Industry based Global Internship placements, Curriculum Building, Teaching, Global Community Engagement, Human Resource and CSR Sectors. Naveen is passionate about revival of dying arts from the nomadic communities of India through various empowerment programs for women and children.

Naveen earned dual Bachelor’s degree in Human Issues/Anthropology and Commerce from both Manasagangotri, Mysore (India) and Friends World Program of Long Island University (USA).  She holds Master’s degree in Anthropology and Humanities, Southampton Campus of Long Island University, New York.  Naveen enjoys travelling, exploring new cultures and traditions. She considers herself a very active person in the development of blended and experiential education with an aim to educate every youth with global education and experience which forms the key to bridge Education and Employability in the present context. Naveen is currently serving in the Leadership Team of NAFSA - MIG. She was also a presenter on Global Education and Internships at the USAID Conference 2022 and at the Career Integrated Global Learning Conference in Milan in 2022.
