For Winter 2021, internship placements will be in-person in Singapore, Mumbai, and Bangalore
You will apply via University of Melbourne application process AND via the link below. Applications are being accepted now through 11 April, 2021 and will be processed on a rolling basis.
Final acceptance into the program is determined by the University.
Once GCC receives word of your acceptance, we will send you a welcome email that will include a prompt to schedule a pre-placement meeting. That meeting must be completed within one week of application.
The pre-placement meeting is an opportunity for GCC to review your application with you to learn more about your background and career or academic goals as well as provide context for internship opportunities in the location for which your application is under consideration.
Our placement process is highly personalized to you. We conduct employer outreach on your behalf based on the information you provide us in your resume and pre-placement meeting.
We do not pre-source placements.
After this meeting, a deposit will be required to move forward with the program. (*see internship cost)

All Internships will begin on Monday 28 June 2021 and will be six (6) weeks long.
One (1) week prior to beginning your internship you will participate in an online orientation session usually lasting less than one hour. GCC will send a meeting invitation with the exact date and time or the orientation.
Your internships will end on Friday 6 Aufust 2021
Included in the Program: Pre-placement meetings and coaching, resume review/updates, placement, professional development activities, mentor/advising support as needed, and onsite emergency support.
Excluded from the Program: Accommodation, meals, insurance, visa, and traditional blanket HSS (health, safety, & security)

Program fee is $1,000 USD
A deposit of $250 USD is required after the pre-placement meeting if you wish to move forward with the program.
The $250 deposit is refundable up to 7 days after the pre-placement meeting.
The remainder of the program fee will be due 15 days prior to the start of your internship.

GCC can place both graduate and undergraduate level students in most fields of study and areas of interest. Placements will be commensurate with academic levels, skills, and experience. Locations on offer include;
Mumbai, Bangalore, Singapore
You must currently be living in India or Singapore to participate on the program.
You must apply via the University of Melbourne application process as well as the GCC process. The University application is due by 11 April. The GCC application is open now through 3 May.
Clicking the "apply" button will open up a form we call the pre-placement questionnaire. Please take 10-15 minutes to fill out and submit this form, including an upload of your resume/CV (we do not need a cover letter).
Once we receive the form AND the University has approved you application, we will review your information and reach out to you via the email address you provided to schedule a 30 minute pre-placement meeting using zoom or similar technology.
Filling out the form and participating in the meeting does not mean you are committing to the program. You will decide if you want to continue with the placement process after the meeting.
