"Over the past six months, I had the incredible opportunity to work at Ento Industries, a sustainability company in Singapore. This internship allowed me to gain first-hand experience in how innovative organizations are addressing global challenges like food security, waste reduction, and environmental impact which gave me valuable insight into how solutions can make a real-world difference in creating a greener future.

Living and working in Singapore was equally enriching outside of the office. From exploring cultural landmarks and enjoying local dishes at hawker centers, to visiting places like the zoo (which I think rightfully earned its title as one of the best in the world) and Marina Bay, I was constantly inspired by the city’s blend of tradition and modernity. Singapore’s location also made it easy to travel, on weekends I ventured out to nearby countries, experiencing the rich diversity of Southeast Asia with trips to Malaysia, Indonesia, Vietnam, and beyond. A highlight was visiting Malaysia, where I was able to enjoy great food!

This experience was more than just an internship, it was a period of growth and discovery. I learned so much about the sustainability industry, while also learning how to adapt to a new culture and thrive in an international work environment. More importantly, the opportunity to do an internship in Singapore has given me life long relationships that I cherish and I’m extremely grateful for. My time at Ento Industries and Singapore has shown me that true growth really comes when I am outside my comfort zone - and sometimes out of my country!"
