As a long-standing host organization partner of Global Career Center (GCC), GotInfo has welcomed undergraduate and graduate students from universities around the world into meaningful remote-first internship experiences. Through hands-on projects, mentorship, and cross-cultural collaboration, GotInfo helps students develop in-demand professional skills while making valuable contributions to the organization.
Magdalena Zepeda-SeLegue shares her reflections on mentoring recent interns from the Summer and Spring 2026 cohorts, and the impact they've made.
Summer 2026 Intern Spotlight - Zoey Huang (University of California, Berkeley)
"Behind every startup are talented people whose ideas, curiosity, and hard work help move the mission forward. We’re proud to recognize the incredible interns who contributed to GotInfo this summer. Our Intern: Zoey Huang.

Zoey Huang: Data Analytics & Platform Strategy Summer Intern at GotInfo.
This summer, we’re recognizing Zoey Huang, our Data Analytics & Platform Strategy Intern. Zoey is a senior at UC Berkeley studying Data Science, and she spent her summer helping transform data into meaningful insights that will shape GotInfo’s future. Some of her contributions included:
Analyzing our consumer research survey
Conducting competitor and SEO research
Studying network effects to help GotInfo grow
Behind every startup is a tremendous amount of work that people never see. The spreadsheets. The interviews. The research. The analysis. The planning. Those efforts become the foundation for better decisions — and Zoey played an important role in helping us build that foundation.
Thank you, Zoey, for your curiosity, professionalism, and willingness to dive into challenging questions. We are grateful for everything you contributed this summer and can’t wait to see where your journey takes you.
What impressed us most about Zoey was her ability to take complex data and always bring the conversation back to one simple question: ‘How does this help the GotInfo app user?’ That mindset is exactly what every startup needs. Wishing you continued success at UC Berkeley and beyond! Thank you to Global Career Center (GCC) for matching us to an amazing individual!"
Summer 2026 Intern Spotlight - Precious Rios (University of California, Berkeley)
"Meet Precious Karla Rios. She was introduced to us by Global Career Center (GCC), and we are so grateful! One of the biggest challenges for every startup is building technology that people actually understand, trust, and use. This summer, Precious joined GotInfo as our Community Storytelling & Brand Impact Intern, bringing curiosity, compassion, and an incredible willingness to meet people where they are.

Precious Rios: Community Storytelling & Brand Impact Summer Intern at GotInfo.
As a Rhetoric student at UC Berkeley, Precious didn't spend her summer behind a desk. She walked into businesses throughout New York, introduced business owners to GotInfo App, listened to their experiences, and gathered valuable feedback that will help shape how we communicate with local businesses nationwide.
One of the things that makes Precious' journey especially inspiring is that she is a first-generation college student. Alongside her work with GotInfo, she contributes to at The Daily Californian and is an active member of the Latin American Leadership Society at UC Berkeley. Watching her confidently represent GotInfo face-to-face with business owners while balancing her academic and leadership commitments made it clear that she is already making a meaningful impact.
She also researched one of the biggest changes affecting small businesses today: Consumers no longer begin every search with Google. People now discover businesses through Google Maps, AI assistants, social media, videos, community recommendations, and countless other digital touch points.
What impressed me most about Precious was her willingness to listen. She understood that every business owner has a story, and that the best technology begins by understanding people first.
Thank you, Precious, for helping us strengthen the connection between local businesses and the communities they serve. Your work, professionalism, and dedication have made a lasting contribution to GotInfo App, and we can't wait to see where your journey takes you next."
