Global Career Center (GCC) actively participates in conferences and conversations shaping the future of international education and employability. This blog outlines the events GCC plans to attend during early 2026, highlighting opportunities for connection, learning, and collaboration across international and higher education.

The Florida Association of International Educators Annual Conference will be held this year at Florida International University's Biscayne Bay campus, located just north of Miami. GCC's Chris McKenzie will be attending and exhibiting at this conference.

Community Colleges for International Development (CCID) is celebrating their 50th annual conference this year in Tucson, Arizona. Co-Founders Kate Moore and Chris McKenzie will be attending #CCID2026, as well as Catherine Hanley, GCC's Internship Placement Consultant for Biotechnology.

The Forum on Education Abroad hosts an annual conference to bring together thought leaders in international education. This year, #ForumEA26 will be held virtually in February, and in Nashville, Tennessee in March. GCC is a proud exhibitor and looks forward to discussing current and emerging trends in the industry.


Kate and Chris will both be attending in Nashville, with Kate presenting a poster session on ‘Vanishing Voices: The Future of Language Learning in Education Abroad’ with Heidi Soneson (Gateway International Group) and Megan Jones (Drew University). The session will be held on the final day of the conference, Friday March 13th from 10.15-11.15am CST.
